JoliAmour

JoliAmour DuBose-Morris, is an entertainment writer, avid film nerd, and poet from Jamaica Queens, New York, now residing in Bushwick. She received her B.A. at the University of San Francisco in 2023 for media studies, with a focus on scriptwriting and film theory. 

 

JoliAmour's writing portfolio extends across creative writing (hybrid poetry & creative nonfiction), scriptwriting (magical realism, drama, coming of age), and journalism (film, fashion, music, art, and beauty).

She has won numerous accolades for her work. She has collaborated with multiple publications including Behind the Blinds, StyleCaster, Polyester Zine, Document Journal, Red Bull, Wallpaper*, Ladygunn Magazine, InStyle, Harpers Bazaar, Okayplayer, and more. 

 

JoliAmour is immensely passionate about writing in all mediums and looks to explore angles that challenge the status quo. She's a Girls Write Now alum, a 2024 Emerging Voices PEN America Finalist, and currently working for Authors Equity.
